The i-Health platform has introduced a new module for booking specialist appointments online: Book a Doctor. For seven years, i-Health Bulgaria has helped patients arrange consultations, diagnostic tests, second medical opinions and home visits. With the new Book a Doctor module, patients can now also book appointments with medical specialists online.
In addition to specialist appointments, i-Health arranges consultations for second medical opinions. Patients can request home visits from a doctor, nurse or physiotherapist, as well as mobile laboratory services, depending on their location and the availability of partner healthcare providers and medical professionals.
The platform also provides opportunities for partnerships with hospitals across the European Union to facilitate access to second medical opinions. Through these partnerships, i-Health can help patients coordinate consultations with specialists abroad and prepare the necessary medical documentation.
The platform offers preventive health programmes and is developing care packages to support patients with chronic conditions. Subscription plans for personal health assistance are also available, tailored to the needs of patients and their families.
One of i-Health’s core services is its personal health assistant, also known as a medical concierge. This service helps patients and their families organise and coordinate a range of medical services, from choosing a specialist and booking an appointment to arranging follow-up consultations, tests and other necessary services. It is designed for people who need more comprehensive support in navigating the healthcare system.
“We work with Bulgarian and international patients, including Bulgarians living abroad who seek assistance for themselves or their loved ones in Bulgaria. Depending on their needs, patients can book an appointment for a specific service or turn to a personal health assistant for comprehensive coordination of their medical services.
Patients may start with a preventive health programme. If a doctor recommends further consultations or tests following their examinations, our team helps arrange them. When needed, we also organise home visits, medical transport or the translation of medical documents.
Our experience shows that people often need more than a particular specialist. They also need someone to help them organise the next steps in their healthcare journey. Our role is to save them time and effort and facilitate communication with medical professionals,” explains Svetlana Sabotinova, Founder and Managing Partner of i-Health.
Patients can contact the platform’s team by phone, email or WhatsApp, or use the Book a Doctor online module directly. i-Health works in partnership with healthcare facilities, doctors and other medical professionals who carry out the consultations, tests and procedures. Medical decisions and treatment recommendations remain the responsibility of the treating specialists.
The development of i-Health is backed by Svetlana Sabotinova’s more than 20 years of professional experience in healthcare and other business sectors. The idea for the platform grew out of her desire to find a practical solution to the difficulties patients face in accessing medical services.
