First in Bulgaria: Innovative Endovascular Atherectomy with BYCROSS Catheter at University Hospital “Lozenetz ”

On May 20th, University Hospital “Lozenetz” performed for the first time in Bulgaria an innovative endovascular vascular procedure using the BYCROSS system — a single-use, next-generation atherectomy device. The procedure was successfully carried out on three patients by Dr. Asen Todorov’s team, who is a specialist with extensive experience in vascular, visceral, and oncovascular surgery.
